Ducklings

These are S. and K.

This is I. last summer.

Dear God, please, Help

Right now I'm a rubber band. Not a pristine new one, but one which finds out that one day it will give up. Who's willing to pull some more? Who wants to be the winner who gets the fingers snapped by the old, surprisingly giving up rubber band?

Sorina

At the time I have just ended a very brief dating thing with her brother. Rather a no. They were all working together: she, her husband, her brother, and her father had retired a few years before from the same company.

Six weeks old.

I told her brother how sorry I was when I crossed him some time later. He was growing a bear, as it's the custom after the death of a relative. Men are supposed to not shave for six weeks or six months or a year.

Years passed, they had a son, and now also a daughter. When I was pregnant last time, she told me how happy she was for me to have a daughter, to find out what a little girl means. I changed shifts and we are now shiftmates. This is a nice shift. I had baby clothes from here and there, and one night she brought me a bag of baby girl clothing. Very nice, almost not weared, some things even had the tags on, price reaped apart.

I thanked her, wishing the clothing to be for her daugher's health. A custom. She answered: "Let it be for my little one." It turned on my heelstoward the door. There, it thundered on me.

"What was her name?" "Sorina". Her father's name.

Uncovered

I've left a comment on a blog and I didn't pay attention, it is signed "dj" instead of as usual, thus giving a boost for posting. Maybe tonight.

No news, good news

I said I'd post every day, but of course I didn't. There's so little or so much that happened these days. Next time I'll bring the camera with me. Because now I'm at work.

There's so much that is not clear with big dj's new job... I feel insecure about it, but I still have hopes.

The boys are alright. K has a new teacher this trimester, it seems he likes her a lot. I bought S new snickers yesterday, he was all floored. He took it as a present for his recent birthday.

I. is herself every second.

I'm going to have a quick smoke before working planes. Ploughing...

bonjour!

Hello everyone!

I've chosen this way, the blog, to keep informed our friends away about our daily life. Why English? Ha, it's so simple: I'm not comfortable with the accents in French. So, I. godmother's has a brilliant use of English, D from Canada also. G, my English teacher, please, would you correct me when needed?

My plan is to post daily. I have little hope that I can do this, but I'll do my best.

Today: S and K returned to school after springbreak. K is not yet cleared of doubleing (spelling?) this year. He has writting issues, he forms the digits and letters from the down line and from left to right (this is in drawing the letters). We've discovered an ergoterapist to train his fine motricity.

Big dj started a new job today. I hope, hope, hope it will be alright. I work tonight, having extra hours I go to work only at midnight.

I.'s lunch I planned to be stuffed courgettes, but the courgettes were so small that I turned it into meatloaf bullets with courgette and tomato sauce and a garnish of penne pasta. Big hit! The meat was, actually, turkey legs that I grinded. We had a turkey at Christmas from a godson, and it took the place in the freezer ever since. Last night I used half of the breast for dinner, and the rest will turn into a "ciorba" (a sort of borsch, G Teacher) and something else.

Today's pictures: tulips from my parents' garden, and I. with a scarf; it seems her sunhat is non grata!
